So, you can understand English but don’t have much confidence to speak?
This is a common problem if English is not your first language.
Vibhava Academy would like to help you solve this problem without you feeling embarrassed.
We would therefore like to welcome you to the Vibhava Academy Spoken English programme and help you to achieve your potential.
Our course of 3 months will enable you to develop self-confidence and public speaking capabilities through our concept of “Learning with Engagement”. The course structure will ensure that you will be directly interacting with the teacher and fellow students, throughout the sessions..
Vibhava Spoken English Classes caters to:
- Adults - Individual (Request course fee)
- Adults - Group (Maximum 12)
- Primary Level Students - Group (Maximum 12)
- Secondary Level Students - Group (Maximum 12)
Some key features of the course:
The course will include topics such as Self introduction, Grammar, Fluency of Speech, Comprehension, Mispronounced words, Self Presentation, Role-play, Personal & Business Expressions, Debate, Public speaking, Building Self Esteem & Confidence, Pronunciation.
- Thinking in English – The first problem to understand is that you need to think in English rather than just translate into English what you are thinking in your first language. This is the first step to becoming confident in speaking English.
- Minimum interruption – The teacher will not correct you each and every time you make a mistake. We know through experience that it is practically impossible for you to learn English by being corrected all the time. The teacher will instead make you understand your mistakes and correct them together with you at appropriate times. This will help you understand how you could communicate better and make yourself better understood.
- Students will be encouraged to speak more – You cannot learn to speak English by taking down notes. It is important to speak in English so that you will learn to be fluent in communicating your thoughts and opinions in English. You will therefore be encouraged to speak more in the classroom than the teacher. The teacher will do this by asking a lot of questions that will lead to you having an intelligent conversation.
A certificate on completion of the course will be awarded by Vibhava Academy.
